Anyone else have this happen to them?

You shoot at a tank, tank gets blown up with friendlys near-by. You get the kill or someone else gets the kill. While the friendlys are busy getting blown up, it says that you teamkilled them!!! and to top things off, you get punished for it.

The other night I was shooting at the MEC transport helicopter on Kubra dam and as it was flying towards a buntch of guys, I shot at the helicopter and killed the pilot. Well the heli kept going and ended up crashing and exploding right on some friendlys, after that happened it said that I TK'ed them. WTF?!

same thing happened to me, i was in an aa vehicle on kubra damm, there was 2 helos, i shot at the enemy helo and took it out with 2 direct shots it then exploded and crashed into the friendly destroying it and then came up with you will be punished for the team kill? ok casualties of war yes but getting punished for an unfortunate accident no! it was a cracking kill too!(sob, sob)

Well if the maturity of the players on your team don't exceed the maturity of a 5 year old, whats to expect of them?

I suggest playing if possible at later hours when the little buggers are asleep and the sane people are playing the game.

Or perhaps join a mature gaming community or a huge clan,squad. That way there is bound to be some good people to play with most of the time.

Checkout the Clan section on the forums. There's crawling with recruitment posts. Im sure you are bound to find a squad that will fit your needs.

I try not to punish unless it was on purpose.
A couple of nights ago this guy names lilljon something or another stood infront of a jet because he didnt get it.He punished as soon as the guy ran him over.I called him out on it and he just typed "hahahahahahaha."
I seriously hate that crap.

don't punish... plain and simple. unless the fool is a real smacktard, that is. the poster who said casualty of war was right to a point... its too bad you don't lose a point for dying as well from your own stupidity when you punish.

It's generally the funniest thing on the battlefield when you cause them to TK their teammates, or the worst thing when it happens to you. Despite being a double-edged sword, I love doing it to enemies to hear them go "WTF?!"
