Shoot down aircraft bombs

Yep, it's possible. I shot down a bomb from a charging F35 and to my surprise it exploded in mid air. This game just gets deeper and deeper....

No way, i rarely see the bombs before the hit the ground and explode, let alone have time to shoot at them. Did you mean to hit them or were you just firing and accidently hit one... And are you sure it was a bomb that exploded??

Ive shot TOW missles down before with the Linebacker (AA) :shock:

Yep. I don't see why the physics would not allow for bombs to be blown up in this manner as well.

I didn't mean to hit them. I was just trying to shoot desperately at the jet with my G36 and i managed to hit one of its bombs. Crazy ****.

Wow.. now this i have to try.. although i dont quite know how.... appart from trying your tactics, which will most likely get me killed.. lol.

Support guns or a jackhammer may do the trick. The bomb went down very easily. I think one bullet took it down.
