ARGH! Trying to get knife combat badge

Ok i got the bronze, but i want to try to get AT LEAST silver on this thing since i feel i am good enough.

First of all am i playing on a server where rounds go to fast? 64 player, city map rotation, SFR clan server(or something), rounds last 300 ticks (about 10-15 minutes).

I dunno, my best so far with JUST the knife has been 11, and usually that involves me mowing through at LEAST 1 entire group (sad yes, true? sadly yes too). I've even had K/D ratios above my current rate.


This is how i run.
Medic waiting for sprint and timing my shots right, or just dodging bullets until they bring out a pistol at which point i kill them.

My best "streak" with a knife is 9, in which i managed to run into the Mashtar (sorry for sp) hotel and killed the 3-4 campers in the room and the 2-3 campers on top. Then i proceeded to "camp" the spawn point but mind you i used my knife the whole time.... sooo they deserved it. Then they stopped spawning there battle was almost over and i just got 11 that round.

SO CLOSE:cry:

So can anyone tell me if I'm doing anything wrong here? Heck, i dont even fire my gun anymore. Just medpac, revive, and hack/slash the enemy to pieces.




PS Kudos to those with expert that didnt pad, this is one tough but fun badge to work for.

if got SF than play dark map or warlord and i will say: karkand is one of the best knifing things cause of the narrow streets u can easily jump in the middle of a reviving medic and there u go... 2 kills keep on doing that and u got in no time expert atleast thats my way how i got it

veteran knife (silver) is only 7 kills in one round...but you have to have 50 knife kills on your account before you can get it.

There's no way thats right, i have gotten more than 7 kills in a single round multiple times and currently have 110 global kills in my stats.

well it was only 7 for me.

you could go over to bf2s.com and post in the ubar thread, but ubar is very rarely wrong.

same with me i got over the 500 pistol kills and when i got above the 25 kills than i got it :hmm: and i got my expert at the 19 kills than 30 secs later it ended, god u just have to love snipers that never use claymores

Do you have to wait for a period of time before your stats update for the server? I got like 80ish of my kills today so i dunno if that could have anything to do with it.
