I really need some help..

Ok so I just installed the game and it loads the first video and everything but when it gets to the first screen.. it goes black.. and then it will show the mouse arrow with a black background and then the arrow would disappear.. then it would show up with the game on it.. but I can't choose anything and then it would go back to black again.. I really need help.. pleaseee..
