At Mashtuur City, the US force captured the MEC radar station base. The MEC inturn captured the flag at muslim temple. I spawned at MEC radar station as US sniper. went accross the dry-bed river to the building next to the temple. Heard some enemy activies on balcony. Decided to loft some grenades. The third one killed "Vob.."; so, I thought this is it. I ran around the building to access to the top. To my surprise, another sniper on that balcony jumped down. He didn't see me. So, I decided to pursue him with my knife out and ready. We headed toward the temple on the brigde side. I was like 6-7 feets away from him. I dived once and stabbed but missed. So, I decided to move closer.
Kept my paces up with him. Obviously, he ran toward the flag infront of the temple. Unknown to me, there was a whole MEC squad present around the flag. They were noisy saying all kind of commands. I thought to myself, "Oh-uh, this is a big mistake." "But, what's the heck!" so, I thought and continued to followed him.
He ran into the mass and disappeared. I lost him and switched to a new victim. I just could not contain myself from laughing out loud. I mixed in the bunchs and they didn't even notice. "They were too busy to look out for that damn flag and forgot what they support to do with me." I thought. So, at this time I pursued an anti-tank guy to the corner of the temple facing the dry-bed river. I am not sure if his buddy warned him or felt someone following him. He just stopped and turned around. I just looked straight into his eyes and "pop!" Swift cut right to his face.
Saw his buddy ran toward me and did a dolphine dive. So, I tried too. But, the guy did it before me. He got me with his assualt rifle.
I was laughing the whole time. Afterward, I wished I could have lay some claymores or grenades at the place before knifed the guy. Anyway, it was so funny at the moment.
