This is a warning to all clans in the BF2 community that the following clan [TPB] Team Platinum Brother http://tpbclan.co.uk will attempt to poach your members. Please look out for the following [TPB] members on your server or website;

[TPB] Rogal Dawn
[TPB] Hooli

They will attempt to recruit your members through voip or text on your server and private messages on your website. The following is a PM from one of their leaders [TPB] Cheech in an attempt to poach some of our members;


Hey There,

I thought i would mail you as we would like to recruit you into our every growing clan. Our clan is better than the clan you are currently in as we DO NOT impose any payment subscriptions at all we think of it this way, what can we do for our members rather then what can members do for us. The clan is called [TPB] The Platinum Brothers and we have a 32 man ranked server with teamspeak hosted via multiplay.co.uk.

[TPB] is a well professional clan and is well known especially in the quake halflife and medal of honour games as [TPB] was always in the top 10 of every mager tournament.

this is just silly. . .

If the only thing keeping members of your clan from fleeing to another clan, is preventing that clan from propositioning your members, time to quit the clan game.

Let your overall clan experience speak for itself. . . you sound like you're actually scared you're going to loose members, and if that's the case, what can you do, to change the 'overal clan experience' so that people are loyal to it.

That's one reason I love <|Bux|> so much. We have fun and have a good sense of comradierie. . we also take donations to run our servers, all four of them.

Exactly...couldn't have said it better myself, Recruiting on your page is a little low, but if people want to pay you for a subscription, and then leave, you have some serious problems with your clan.

whats wrong with trying to recruit new players? we should be concentrating on clans that kick cause u beat them to the heli/plane first, like the sasclan.

Do you think that P ANON is actually in clan TPB - if he isn't hes not done them any harm with a full page add listing web site, server details and costing info. Would take an individual quite some time to PM that to people he met in game.

Or he can put it in here and get wide coverage quickly and easily.

who cares if theyre trying to recruit? i mean, if they KNOW your a clan, and they are purposly trying to take your members thats a little messed up, but its your fault your clan isnt good enough for your current members .

if members were 110% happy with your clan, they would not leave. having clan experience (in another game) i can tell you, we never lost a member to another clan (well, members that werent' total idiots, and the one that did bounced between a few clans). we end up recruiting a lot of other clan's players, because they fall apart (not active by any means).

so, maybe you should use their moto: what can YOU do for YOUR clan members, to make them 110% happy?

yea, and if i HAD to pay to be in your clan, i would be looking for another one as well :P
