    Anyone tried this?

I discovered an interesting trick the other day while flying the USMC jet. While I'm in the middle of the map, I point the jet straight up and hit afterburners. Shortly before I reach the ceiling, I start to throttle down (so I don't lose control right away). When the plane reaches 0 mph I eject. It will probably shoot out high above you, especially if you still have some airspeed. As you free-fall, move around so that the plane stays in your upper view. As its flips around and falls it will eventually start to reach you. Hold down the key you use to enter vehicles and keep pointing yourself into the jet. It may not work at first but stay near it and continue holding down the button. Eventually the plane may straighten out and this seems to be your best chance to re-enter it. If you aren't killed by the jet swirling around and you still have some sky to spare, you will be able to re-enter the cockpit and pull the jet into level flight. I am able to successfully do this about 1/3 of the times I actually try it. I'm not sure that it would be useful in any way, but it's fun as hell.

you also can go faster than sound. just fly straight up in tha air and start you after burner at approximataly 1600mp/h and at 3800mp/h you should hear a little sort of *plaf* and then nothing, thats teh moment. (in the joint strike fighter for sure)
