I chose the sniper and then the engineer upgrades. But that's just me.

Jumping continuously like a f@g to avoid bullets and thus being shot. The ultimate coward. When you see a guy do this, offer to buy him a set of panties.

Honestly. . . I see a diffrence between acting like a n00b and being new to the game.

n00b's as has been frequently stated before. . .

just a few examples of n00b Behavior:
- TK for Vehicles
- Mine the only entrances and exits from your base
- Jump into the Gunners seat and only blaze away at anything and everything with the mg and ignore TV missiles (Been guilty of this one myself)
- bunnyhop all over the damn place

People new to a game, or a community for that matter generally:

- read the forums before they start posting
- figure out how to use the f*cking search function
- don't make me too posts
- watch who they make enemies of
- listen to the moderators
- avoid acting like a smacktard or a troll as much as possible

well, we were all noobs at 1 point. and im sure all the vets had help to, when they 1st joined.


and you guys do want the bf2 community to grow larger right?
then help these "noobs" out, cus many times when a person is not able to figure out a problem by theirselves, they just quit. better to have more bf2 people, then a few pros.

In the past hours, I understand that we are now overrun by n00b questions, n00b statements, and myg0t related threads that are spamming TBF2 to it's death. Things like "OMG c4 hacker on this server!" or, a myg0t related one, "Proof of punkbuster here!" These threads are overflowing and will soon spam out all of TBF2. I understand that many people recieved BF2 for Christmas, most likely lost too much or sucked, then came here for help. To just point this out, as a policy here in TBF2, before posting questions or statements, you must search the internet for your answers first then when you don't find the answers, you come here and ask them. As this rule has been used by our vets here at TBF2, we have not had much problems. Today, however, just today have we been overflown with n00bs asking questions left and right, breaking the golden rule of TBF2, the one thing that keeps us from getting spammed. We have been spammed out I am afraid. Unrelated or unlegitimate threads have popped up, easily answered by just reading the booklet that came with BF2. Sadly though, we are falling to a fate that I fear. Legit questions will never be the same.:|:
I say this is BF2 related because legitimate questions about this game that really puzzle even the experts will not be heard because of n00bs spamming out BF2 and our own forum.

Why is being new to the game looked at as some sort of deformity? It's like these new people are somehow less of a person because they got their hands on the game some months later than others.

If you're a real man, an intelligent man with something to bring to the table, then we'll see you as a CEO or senator or high priced lawyer some day. At that point, you can brag. But exploiting your way to fake stats to impress other people? Not worthy of respect, not at all.

I say let's welcome all the new people. Spread the love of BF2 around. Kill each other with honor. Get that shiny badge by earning it. Dont jump when confronted with an assault rifle. Die with honor.

thank you for those kinds words boojiie, But even without those kind words i think that a gaming society as this one should be a friendly one that accepts new people and helps them get better until they know stuff by themselves, because than they might take that friendliness they got and migh use it to help out others instead of having all these harrasing comments(make no mistake i have made some comments but most of mine are just friendly arguments or friendly banter) Because in a community such as this one we should have friends and be able to have little teasing of eachother but not to the degree that i see alot of things being said, such as what skitcho wrote,
i mean hell ive been playing since the day it came out and i am still new to some things, or i cant do other things as well as other people, so should i be called a noob?NO! thats just wrong and shouldnt be aloud in our gaming society.
To the guy who was asking about which is the better unlock, i would get whichever kit you play the most because they all help out their own kit in one way or another.

90% of the posts in here have always been crap, it really doesn't appear to be a new trend here. And the search engine on this particular forum, works worth a ****, which makes it even harder for noobs to get the answers they want without having to make a post about it.

To see what I mean about the search engine, type in 'Jet Tactic', it will return you the most far flung results because you can't even get the option to use 'Exact Phrase', as long as those two words exist in a thread, it will bring that thread to your attention.

It's hard to blame them on the part of searching, when searching on this board is broke. You'd probably get better luck on google, but then your definitely going to have to make sure you don't get results from another game, even though you put bf2 in your search criteria.

The rest of the bad posting, just comes from idiots/ignorants/uninformed/etc. Take your pick, or combine them for more fun.

The thing that annoys me is when there are 2 or 3 threads about the same topic going, people need to learn to search before they post!

And yes i agree the searching needs some improving, but its still worth a go, or atleast have a quick look at the threads on the front page.
