no water splash?

So I got BF2 and installed patch, working fine looking great. Theres just one annoying thing I noticed...when I shoot the water nothing happens, no splash of water no nothing. I reinstalled and noticed it worked before I patched the game. Does anyone else have this/know how to fix it?

Try this guide, might be something in your settings and or vid drivers.
I always re-install DirectX after changing vid drivers.

I have exactly the same problem, and am using the Nvidia 81.98 drivers. What drivers are you using?
