Leaving the comp side opened ?

    hi
well guys I think you know what im talking about

you know some comp have a fan on the side of the comp tower, so I have to remove it so there's nothing on the side for now, Im wondering if there's some danger for the computer if I leave it like this for maybe 2 or 3 hours..

after that Ill put it on.

    thx

Nah, not really, I've put little space fans just for a few extra ghz for fun. I don't recommend it permanent though, but as you said you'll be replacing it.

I leave mine off all the time >.> Crappy Radeon 9200 128MB overheats otherwise, and makes the sky go insane in the game and impossible to play until I restart.

I haven't encountered any problems so far >.> Save for maybe my computer insides being dirty a lot faster.

The only thing that will happen is it will get dustier quicker. Other than that, nothing can happen. Unless you get clumsy and spill something in there.

              Not unless theres rain.

I had the same problem, then I got a new full tower case, 4 fans, 1 that blows out our the air that comes in, my pc never goes over 25 degrees.

Ghetto cooling solution, no danher at all, you might have to clear dust from inside a little more often though.
