Does SF Require the BF2 CD? And other Q's

So does the Special Forces Expansion require the Battlefield 2 CD? Also, I'm really confused. Are there PC-CD's for SF that you can buy at Future Shop or something? Or can you only download it from EA? I'm wondering this because to tell the truth, mum lost the CD for BF2 so my Christmas sucks the big one.

i don't rememeber having to use my BF2 CD, but don't hold me to that.
If you do get it and install it you can use the SF disk to run BF2 so you're in luck.

So you can buy the Special Forces Expansion in disk form? S'just that I haven't seen it at my near Future Shop or Best Buy. This might just birhgten up my Christmas!

OMG there are ways around this people... do a lil research You DO NOT even need it for the original game only when you install it with the CD Key!

No, no probs unless you try to reinstall it.

I can give you info on how to get a cd-image, that works fine for both. Just give a Pm.

Both Cd's are compatble, basically, you can use SF to play normal Bf2 and play vanilla, doesn't matter.

It dont matter wots in the drive as long as it one of them. You can play BF2 with the SF in the drive

When I had my Special Forces CD in the drive and tried to start BF2 it told me to put the BF2 Installation CD in and retry >_>
