The reason I asked about your sound card and mouse is because there will be problems with bad drivers. I didn't have the right logitech drivers for my mouse and I had video problems similar to yours.

Try downloading and running 3DMark01 SE and see if you have the same video problems running that benchmark. If so, then it's either your vid card or a driver problem.

ok ive run the demo test.
and basically,, its still the same
so i guess ive got a faulty card.. ****sake.
anyway thanks for the help guys

Is there any way you can test your vid card in another computer? Also, I forget if you've tried this already, but you can uninstall the drivers, clean them out of your system and reinstall them. You can try different drivers too.
