    Need help with special forces

OK, so i got Special Forces for christmas today (merry christmas everybody ) and I absolutley love it wen im not laggin like hell. But here's my problem. I am running on a very poor, unsupported system (AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (i fink) @ 2.3GHz, 512MB RAM, 9200SE Radeon (unsupported). To get BF2 to work in the first place I had to knock every setting down to low/off and view distance to 75% and change my cards AGP speed from 8X to 4X. BF2 runs fine after a little "just joined lag" but with SF I am woried about the player model quality in the night maps as I cannot see any detail at all on the player models (just basically a black siloutte even with night vision on) + the same with flags, "dropped kits" + dead bodies. This makes it practically impossible to see enmies unless they are against a white painted wall. My question is, is this usual for the settings that I am running the game on, or is it becasue my card is unsupported? Screenshots are enclosed below. Thanks for any replies I get. (I also sometimes get a red sniper crosshair)

Yes, don't expect to get any higher setting with that system, my suggestions are to get a new video card, at least a 6600gt to play SF nicely, I think the card is supported though. Get at least another stick of 512mb ram. and Can you give us the socket type of your processor? Your processor should work fine though. But answering your question those settings are just fine.

k thanks for the reply, i don't have the money to update at the moment, but are you sure the red crosshair + detailess player models are just because of my low settings. Because the crosshair isn't always red. I don't know how to find out the socket number though. If you tell me how I will do it.

The red crosshairs are a profile hing I'm pretty sure, just go to options and you can change it right there, but other than that, get a new system or upgrade.
