BF2 Patch's, no luck here :(

Hi, just got the game today but i cant update to 1.12 or even 1.03.
When i D/L the files they work fine and the 'patching now' minibox appears but then says patching failed. So at the moment im very limited in what servers i can play.
I would be really gratefull if someone could point me in the right direction of where im going wrong :)

YEY! FIXED!

I know other people have had this problem before so heres the quick fix
The UK edition of PCGamer has BF2 patch 1.12 on it, first time i tryed it worked, whoo hoo!

Yeah I had it for 1942, so I just kept DLing and installing a few times.
