You need servers to play on single player? lol whos the n00b leading example now?

I think he meant to start a server up to practice on, not that you NEED one. Straight single player maps only come in 16player versions...some people like to start a server up with big maps and no other people so they can practice flying. The map is huge, all the vehicles are there to practice target practice, and you have no bots running around and no worries of people shooting you down, you can just practice practice practice on your flying skills.

yeh i done that to learn how to fly a plane, as u can see in my stats..i need more practice, atleast i can keep it in the air when dodging a plane behind me ^_^

I do agree that there should be a training mode of the game to teach you the roles of all the kits and vehicles and how to perform in them. I know that I would even like to try it out.
