I Got BF2 for Christmas! but I need help!!

I installed BF2, now when I start the program It says emulation software has been detected, please disable emulation software then restart game.

What do I do!!!

If you got Daemon Tools or Alcohol. Try and close them down before starting the game again.

If that doesent work try a another DVD drive.

If that doesent work contact EA Customer support. ..

I have no clue....but maybe this will help you get onto the field . Do alt ctrl del , goto app / and close all programs you dont need. Then goto processes click user name / you should see all your services with "owner" or your computer name next to them. Close ALL Unneeded services, but DO NOT close exploer.exe or taskmng(i beileve) Good luck man.

what does mounting software have to do with this?

Yeah .. i had the same problem with F.E.A.R and NFS: MW. Its just the company trying to stop people from downloading games ... EA .. just so you know .. its called, Anti-Blaxx with 'Virtual CD Hide'. The Virtual CD hider just tricks the game into thinking you are 100% legal

If it really is bothering you that much, go to the control panel, Add/remove programs, then find either Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. Uninstall them. This will most likely fix the problem but! some other games that need images to work may not work ... understand ?

It just wont let play the game because of this problem.and I dont have Daemon tools or Alcohol installed

I dont know what to do next but I am getting pi$$ed off at this!!!!

Is there a program that will fix this, or somthing!

I am not able to play my own christmas present, on my custom PC I built my self!

I don't know what True Crypt is but if it is mounting software then it's likely running in the background even if it isn't showing on the tasktray. I would uninstall that.
