Loading Problem

I finally got the game today and installed. First time I got a black screen and then it would toss me to desktop. I reinstalled and now i got to watch the intro to the game. Then i hear the welcome to duty and i see the single/multiplayer options, but within 5 secs the game shuts down to desktop again.

Windows XP professions
Intel Pentium 4 3.4
2048MD ram
Direct x 9.0c
Nvidia Geforce FX 5700(driver version 6.14.0010.7801
SB Audigy 2 ZS audio

3rd time i reinstalled it finally worked somehow. But now i get a Failed to install BF2: SF, please try again from the beginning when in install SF cd's at very end of 2nd one...What is going on here?

I fixed that problem..Its the Installation that im haveing a problem with now. See post #3

I think I had that same problem as you until I downloaded the patch and then installed the game. Not sure if that was exactly what I did but try it.

OK i installed the patch but when i go to install SF it tries to install its own patch that is probibly older.
