Help me please!!

i'm having problems atm guys
it's about downloading the latest driver for nvidia, my gfx card is a 7800 gtx btw
so , i delete the display driver like nvidia said before anything, then after i downloaded the latest one, in setup i just get a error message saying ''The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatibile with your current hardware. Setup will now excit.''
and cos i've deleted the display driver scrolling on web pages has become a nightmare, feels like i'm back on 56k!
please help

Did you uninstall the previous ones properly using the software uninstall utility?
Did you run Driver cleaner after uninstalling the previous ones?

hi mate thanks for replying

i went through the correct procedure to remove the display driver (nvidia said i had to do this before getting the latest driver)

i didn't run driver cleaner no, how do i go about doing this?
