Fix For Connection To Server Lost (i Used To Have The Problem Myself)

Ok guys, here's the fix for the "connection to server lost". Now please strust me, I've had this problem before and I fixed it myself. All you have to do is repair windows, it's the equivalent of reinstalling except that it doesn't erase ANY of your files or configurations. It takes as much time as it would to intall windows, (approx. 39 mins). This is how to do it : Get out your windows installation disc and insert it into your computer, restart your computer and when the message "press any key to boot from cd" comes up press any key. If you haven't already configured your computer to boot from your cd drive (if your copy of windows is on a cd) then do so by restarting the computer and pressing delete (or whatever key is used ) to access the BIOS. In there you will be able to configure your computer to boot from the cd drive. ***WARNING : CHANGE YOUR BIOS SETTINGS AT YOUR OWN RISK*** PRESSING THE WRONG THING IN THE BIOS CAN SCREW UP YOUR COMPUTER***. After you have press a key when the "please press any key to boot from cd" message comes up, wait for the windows setup menu to come up, a list of different options will appear but only press R to REPAIR WINDOWS. Then a license agreement thing will coe up just press F8 and continue, then when a list of windows instalations comes up (I only have 1, on the CC drive) select it and then all will be good again.

If you're thinking about doing this, reply to my post or contact me by xfire, my account name is : richi7

All this just to address an error that 9 times out of 10 is caused by the server and not the client?

Reparing Windows seems a little extreme for something as trivial as this.
