I was total rank last night :(

Now I know that I'm no where near a top player, I get more enjoyment playing as a team and doing the real teamwork stuff. My K rateis about 0.7 my SPM is about 0.9. But what a rank rotten night last night, I had 70 points to go for my next rank up, no problem I thought, probably two rounds maybe one depending on the map and who I was playing with. Jeez, 5 rounds later I quit after scoring 4 rounds of anout 10 and 1 round of 34, made it with 1 point. Totally depressing getting hyped up to get your rank up then play like a total cow

Anyway, anyone using the G36E, could you tell me how it lines up against the Scar-L, usually play special ops, but after getting the Scar-L unlock i'm finding that i'm losing acurracy ( not that it was great to begin with), went back to the G36C and found out how much better I was using that...

G36E will remind you of the G36C - it's a very good rifle, if not the best (the AK-101 is fantastic too).

My experience with the SCAR-L was similar. It has mediocre accuracy and only slightly better power. 100+ hours as Spec Ops and I still use the default carbines over both unlocks.

Actually being mainly a ground pounder myself 10 to 20 points a round is not bad on a 64 player server. I recently started playing on my favorites only or the server with the lowest ping I could get into. This means that I sometimes wind up on a server with a 64 player map and only 20 people on it. what I discovered was instead of the 10 to 20 points I went up to 50 or more! Now I consider myself improved, I used to be a solid 5 but now I would say Im more like a 5.5 aproching 6 (on a scale of one to ten). In other words Im in the high end of average, as you probably are also. Now there are some days I couldnt score points If I had to, but I usually realize this quickly and spend the rest of the time trying different servers out. This is my advice to you, do this and you might find some more good places to play. I did.

One day I played a complete round on my most favorite server and had only 4 points. I was stinking up the place. I moved to another server and came in third, go figure. So I stayed on that server for the rest of the day (I think I played 3 hours that day) and had some decent games. I started with one server on my favorites list and now I have 4 because of this. Hope this helps......Red

gees not a very high score each map but it relays on what kind of map to and how long did u play ? and as advice from me be commander in a 64 map karkand with like 20 people in it on the USMC side cuz MEC with probaly lose (except if your team sux) and if u win on USMC commander side i think u get like 140+ points atleast my record is 247 to bad i aint got a screenie

The G36E is good for close quarters combat, but far away you might as well use your pistol or not bother at all. It's a really great weapon for combat medics though.

If I want points I be Medic on Karkand, 2 days ago I broke my personal record again to 169 points, 32-player server. Though mainly it's for me more fun to get on TS with some friends and do some organised attacking and defending.

The G36E is good for close quarters combat, but far away you might as well use your pistol or not bother at all. It's a really great weapon for combat medics though.

I totally disagree - the G36E is a fine medium and long range weapon that's nearly as accurate at the carbines. If anything, the burst hinders it in close combat situations, especially when compared to the full auto performance of the AK-101/47.
