I just decided to start playing BF2 again. I didnt buy the expansion. I refuse to buy it until they fix the regular bf2. IMO I think EA rushed the expansion without fixing the origional game. BUT!!! I have good news. EA's financials look bad for the next quarter. They are not sure why they are getting bad sales but I am pretty sure its cause lots of gamers hate them as much as I do.
To the matter at hand. I need help. I just installed the patch 1.12 from a fresh new install of bf2. It worked without the patch so its definetly the patch thats causing it me to crash.
I made a video of what I am experiencing. I just cant get a hint of what could be causing the problem. I click to start up BF2 and it starts up and i get the black screen and back to desktop. As you can see it only takes a few seconds. I have 2 monitors so the size warped at the end.
So please anyone please help me get BF2 working again :)
