StaticMesh

Every time I try to load BF2 I get an error saying that Staticmesh.fx is missing.

Should I just reinstall or what?

I just started getting this error now with BF2 but not with the expansion. Any ideas what's going on? Why would I all of a sudden start getting the error when I didn't for months before?

I checked the directory (shader directory) and there's nothing there but neither is there anything for the SF expansion shader directory and it works fine.

Can anyone help?

try a reinstall...and it seems like this prob has been here since december... so i guess its one of those rare problems

But i can't reinstall it for some odd reason. So do you think i can just get a file or something?

I reinstalled and it didn't do me any good; I still get the error. I haven't played bf2 in a little while and OF COURSE when i want to play it screws me over like this.
