Hey guys, well whenever i play Battlefield 2 its closes automatically after like 15-45 minutes.. wtf is going on here?

um check your graphics card driver? could be a memory problem or something.. my computer crashes when my graphics card gets too hot from overclocking..

Only happend to me when i started playing BF2 on an illegal copy. Never happend with my legal version. But yours is legal off course so i would not have a clue

I've had my game completely shut down a few times and I end up back on my desktop. It gives me no warning signs, it just sends me right back to my desktop and BF2 is not downsized or anything. It's like it magically unloaded everything and I wasn't even playing the game.

Maybe your video card is heating up and shutting you down?

Check your Windows Event Viewer log for some hints as to what might have happened.

if you have an nvidia video card (as i do) then just right click on windows background/properties/settings then click the advanced tab and the video card tab (mines is geforce 6800). this will take you to your graphics card settings (you should see one setting for temperature) keep the temp settings on and startup your game for the time it takes to crash, after crashing check the temperatures to see if it is your card that is overheating and crashing the game.

have you OC'ed the card causing more heat? what is your system?

Edit: have you installed anything recently that could be conflicting? (i know my pc is very temperamental, sometimes everything will work and sometimes i have to restart on boot as some things did not startup properly)

Lately i've been experiencing this problem whenever i try to play SinglePlayer. BF2 just closes down and send me right back to my desktop, until today I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is and of course i cannot play singleplayer anymore.
