Commander, But Still Squad Member

Well, I was playing SF tonight on Ghost Town, and in the first round I joined a squad, then when the second round started, without leaving my current squad I applied for commander and was able to get the job. Well, when I looked at the commander screen, I noticed that my commander icon was colored green, which was strange since I never saw this before. I just ignored it and kept playing. Then, I noticed something else. When I died and looked at the spawn screen, I noticed that there was a little green dot for me to spawn on a squad leader, but I was commander so how could I still be in that squad? I tried to spawn on him but it didn't work. I also noticed that in the scoreboard that my name was still highlighted in green as well as a few other people who were in my squad before. So apparently, I was commander yet still a squad member. Did this ever happen to anyone else?

happens to me all the time when i'm on a squad applying for comander.. meh.. its comon bug for me.. (not in SF tough.. dont have it)

Really? This is a first for me. I usually don't leave my squad after applying for commander yet this happened to me for the first time.

Tried something similar. I just left my squad as a squad-leader, then joined it again.. But there was no squad-leader, everybody was squadmembers. :hmm:
