Anytime Xicer!!!! These are benched better than the Catayst 5.13. As for the ghost issue that the Cat. 5.13 pointed out, i believe these have fixed the issue. But that is just from my system i don't know anyone else. And my FPS increase by 18-29 FPS average.

These work pretty nicely, not as much lag as usual.

Yeah shpox my friend to unistall the Omegas is very simple but what i would recommend you do is first to download Driver Cleaner Pro 1.2 and run its updates. Driver Cleaner can be found here: http://www.drivercleaner.net/

Then Download Crap Cleaner found here: www.ccleaner.com

            Now Follow these steps:

            1. Go to your Start/All Programs/Radeon Omega Drivers and uninstall the Omega Drivers and all files (ATT Tool, MultiRes). Then it will unistall the drivers itself, if you have the most updated Omega Drivers. Do not reboot your system when it ask you!!!!
            2. Then go to your Add and Remove Programs to make sure that the Radeon Omega Drivers are not listed.
            3. Open the Crap Cleaner and have it scan for issues. Then there should be a few entries that was found that needs to be deleted. This is compeltely normal.
            4. Now reboot your system into Safe Mode.
            5. When you get into Safe Mode. Open your Driver Cleaner Software. Make sure that the Cleaner is set for ATI and have it clean it. Run the cab cleaner that is in the Driver Cleaner software.
            6. Now reboot your system back to normal desktop. Then your windows will tell you that new hardware has been found. Windows is a plug & play Operating System so every time you add a new device it will give you a new hardware found prompt. To prevent this you must remove the hardware or let windows try to find the driver if you try to cancel it, it will just show up on the next boot so try to install it even if you don't have the drivers windows will just put it on your system without a driver. It won't hurt your system and you won't get the NEW HARDWARE FOUND PROMPT AGAIN.
** Simple Talk: So just let windows find the driver. Once it does that it will tell you no drivers found (that is what you want). Make are sure to check the box to where you do not want the prompt to show up on your next reboot. This will happen every time you uninstall old drivers.
            7. Then download and install these.

Now for the bad news about Windows. As i said before Windows is a Plug'n Play OS and the bad news is that you have to force it to read the software you want to install. If you have any problems with the above, what i would do is do the repeat the same process as i mention above but this time on Step Number 7 you are going to install the normal Catalyst Drivers 5.13 and again repeat the steps once more but in Step #5 when you run the Driver Cleaner in Safe Mode all have it clean the ATI and the ATI CCC files and do not run the Cab Cleaner. And continue the process and proceed to install whatever modded drivers you want.

Yeah sorry it took me so long to respond. But yeah i just haad to tell you the steps to make it work both ways if you were using modded drivers like Omegas and the normal Catalyst drivers. Its just that Windows can be a real pain. I just hope that in Windows Vista that they would make it easier for people to install 3rd party software instead of relying on Microsoft all the time.

Re: ATI Users: EXTREME ATi Drivers 1.5.13 Christmas Edition

Thanks again, Widkid, I just ran through the procedure. I installed the new drivers and am about to play Bf2 to see if these are better than the omegas.

I thought I might note though. I just went to Programs> Uninstall Setup tools & Omega Drivers and it got rid of the driver itself. In the step where you check the control panel if the driver was still there, on my pc it was, everything was uninstalled however there was a ddl that caused an error, I clicked ignore and just renamed it to be sure. Anyway, After i booted in safe mode, ran cc cleaner (This is a pretty good program, not just drivers, freed up 65 mb on my pc) and Driver Cleaner (I didn't have the Ati CCC in the latest version on the Omega's nor did I have the Multi res or ATT) I restarted and it was removed from Control Panel. . I didn't get the prompt with the new driver and to install them thing, it was just standard when I restarted, anyway, I downloaded the new drivers, installed them, set my resoulution and going to test them and get back to you.

                  Thanks again for the help.

Actually its not really a hobby, just that i am a moderator for www.3dacc.net and when the drivers get post there i post them here as well so then community can choose to try something different and something that would improve there gaming. I use do this when i play Rainbow 6: Ravenshield, which you can asked Gunny Highway who si member of this site and is the moderator of www.raven-shield.com. Plus i know most of the people who created these modded drivers that i post on here.

These are fantastic drivers, spesh for bf2, my game was lag free except for spikes do to high pings and my net connection. Very Very nice drivers, they're not as smooth as the omegas, but hell, better Fps allround. I'd suggest them over the omega's.

I'm very interested, but I'm sure a lot more people could be swayed by more than a casual observation of a better frame rate. Please post your before & after results. I don't think any of us is looking for a full-on review...nothing spectacular or anything.

Even a simple renderer.drawfps 1 and noting what your FPS is on average through the round, then what it is on the same map (server if possible).

Unless there's something specific to be gained/fixed by upgrading drivers, I normally leave them alone.
