I have a 6600GT 128mb with everything on high (no AA) and it runs smooth. Sometimes also with 16xAF

I over clock it and everything, but it refuses to go over medium.

Just to let you guys know, I've now stepped up the settings on Geometry and shadows up to high. It runs fine until the memory leak kills me. Then it just chugs at 10 fps, not fun.

As I'm to understand, there is no memory leak anymore, just an overall general peformance hit. But don't change your settings just because other people are critical of you. Personally, I think TBF2 should get rid of the POTD because so many people are d1cks about it. Sure, it's a forum and thus comments are welcome, but everyone suddenly becomes Siskel and Ebert's evil twins.

But hey, I'm guilty as well. It's hard not to feel powerful when you can add your own two, obviously very important, cents.

Still though, put your settings back to where they were. Peformance over quality if you can't afford the quality. Eye candy importance depends on how vain you are about your computer. I'm pretty vain so I'm willing to get a second job to build a new computer, but most people would say that that's pretty insane. =P

No, it runs just the same as before. The game runs perfectly for 15 minutes, then for some reason, it will just completely grind to a halt. It really sucks.
