    Windowed Mode

    Is there a windowed mode ?

    That would be great if there was. It would give something to do while your wating 5-10 minutes for the loading to complete.

    If not someone should create a mod or whatever for it

    i heard that you can remove the "fullscreen" from the shortcut, properties, target line. Then just reduce the resolution to something that wouldn't take up the whole screen on your monitor. Haven't tried this out though.

              I don't think the game supports windowed mode, even with the shortcut +fullscreen thingy.

                If you ALT-TAB it stops the load time until you return to the game. Well at least it does for me. I think ChiBoys (DEA) wants to have this load not to stop while waiting for the game to load.

                  Re: Windowed Mode

                  there is a windowed mode, it works great.

                  when in game press the ~ button (to the left of 1) and the console will open

                  type in the following---> game.toggleFullscreen

                  press enter, your screen will go black for a sec the it will go into a windowed mode. make sure its exact, use the . and F is cap.

                  its great to see who has coming into team speak, and also you dont have to minimize compleatly to do something else. there are a lot of commands that you can use, do a search on the commands and you will find all sorts of cool things you can do.

                    Windowed mode is especially useful when you are testing mods because you will sometimes get actual error messages instead of just a CTD.
