1. When u shoot with ur Ak like crazy, with 10 bullets a sec rate of fire at enemy 25 meters away and he is still runnin like nothing happened.
2. When u shoot ur M4 rifle at enemy 50m away and u see the golden x hit the first time , then u trig again to see x the second time , and he`s still running like nothing hit, u squezze again and ther`s x again , but nothing to the enemy, u shoot the mf again and if ur lucky hes down.
3. When u set up real good up there with m24 and u shoot the guy right in the smacker and he kills u with first burst when he shoots back ?

Well i do.At first i thought thats just me, unlucky as ever.
Im playin this for the 4th or 5th month now and i have enaugh of this.
I understand about the armor.Still , i think thers no excuse not to lay down everything thats standing up shooting it at 25 meters with an ak or M4 on full auto.

Always using short bursts of 3 or 4 bullets at ranges over 50 meters all the time.
And ,oh boy, i think u cant miss as close as 20 or meters or so.

Oh and did anyone else noticed rather random hit spread ? One day u can hit quite well , next day heheh u can`t hit ****?

im just frustrated when i shoot the enemy first, at close range with a burst of lead and i end up dead.I might as well throw a stone at him.

Plaese help me a little here.I think im doing something wrong here, because u all seem like doing ok.I played sof2 for like 2 or 3 years and been on top (nr1), now playing joint operations for like more than a year doing reall good.Thought im gona have a good time with bf2 not the nervous breakdown.

First of all, make sure that you are prone or crouching when firing at most enemies. Shooting While being crouched or prone, gives you better accuracy via better stablization. Prone having less bullet deviation then crouch.

As to when you attack first but die. The different weapons in this game have there own characteristics. For instance, If I am using my G36C against someone with the G3, I burst first, if they get a good bead on me I will die first. The G3 does more damage then the G36C. But if I am using the AK, and someone comes at me with the L85A1, If I burst first, they will most likely Die. Beings The L85A1 isn't as accurate, and I think it does less damage per bullet then the AK.

You need to mess around and find your nitch in this game. BF2 was built farely well around the guns, one of the finer points of this very glitchy game. And it may just be your playing style that isn't meshing with the class you want to use. Try different classes. Maybe you will fair better with a different unlock.

I OWN snipers all of the time with my G36C. Beings that it is VERY accurate, and semi auto fire is faster then those 50 cal snipers. Try being a dolphin diving rocket thrower. Maybe thats where your true gaming skills are. Oh and do try and exploit the fact that the GL's arent realistic and dont kill you 5 feet away, but It will kill you opponent if aimed directly at the ground.

Try practising your aim in singleplayer. ( with the crosshair turned off )

Well if you cant kill with the AK then you need some practice. The AK is about the best gun in the game. You really need to stop,(stand, crouch or prone) but really need to right click and aim. Also only shoot 4-5 round bursts. Easy to do and kills most likely will come.

This guy has a point. By myself I shot at the walls just to see where exactly the bullets were going- with weapons I was familiar with. M4, MP5, G3.. None of them had a tight grouping when firing a 3 round burst (manually of course) on the wall. The bullet deviation is just weird in this game, I havn't really seen much like it. It's like a cone..

In regards to Kekek, try taking the advice above and getting used to it. The game rules once you're on a roll and this problem won't bother you. When I kill people with the G3 it almost feels like I'm killing them instantly.

Is there a way, anyone of u guys could watch me what im doing ?
then tell me what im doing wrong.I just cant understand what the hell is wrong with me.I run, i aim, prone ,i shoot.I got my situational awarenes up.I know where i am.I know what i want to do.Its just down to when i shoot ...its like lottery,Sometimes i go away smiling ... sometimes i want to smash my pc and all around.And id go wondering .
I got the same rifle.The game is good.What the hell is it then.

The first poster has a good point and I feel the same way. I mean I just open up on an anti tank guy from 20 yards away, probably fire 60 rounds with my mg36, and he just turns around and shoot a rocket my way and I die...wtf.

And no im not a bad shot, the guy probably had like 2 bars of health left, but still its stupid that people can aim so well after being shot so many times....

Practice. Realize that your accuracy is dependent on a few things. Crouching and going prone both increase accuracy, as does using your iron sights (right click to aim). Moving decreases it. When you go full auto, your accuracy decreases with every shot.

Get used to burst firing or using the semi-auto mode that's on most guns.

BTW, the sniper rifles have the very worst accuracy when you fire it from the hip. If you don't use the scope, it's possible to shoot yourself in the foot (not really, but perty damned close)!

As suggested, go into single player and practice shooting bots. This will give you a chance to get a better feeling for the weapons without dying every 20 seconds.

Ya You'll feel stupid when your laying down aiming the saw at a guy running at you with c4 about 30 yards away and firing 100 rounds at him and him not dying cause hes a bunny hopping magician, and he blows ya up

LoL ya it was pretty funny though i was laughing hard when i was shooting cause my friend was sitting next to me. it was great because i knew he was gonna get me .
