Official EA RED / BLUE NAMETAG BUG research thread!!

Please...post in the above thread to help EA get rid of this bug in the upcoming patch.

In a bid to track down and eliminate the red/blue tag bug for the forthcoming patch we need as much information as you can give us as to when and where it is experienced.

If you see the bug, whereby a friendly player will show up with a red name, and hostile players with a blue name, please post in this thread, stating when it occurred, whether it was a one-off or more regularly, and (if possible) what server you were playing on - specifically whether auto-balance is used.

Please also mention anything else you believe may be of use - especially if you'd just switched teams, changed squads and so on.

This information will be collated and sent into the development team.

It changes all the time. One server I frequent had it bad one day, then nothing for days.

Yesterday one of the other regs (on USMC) said he could see me (on MEC) the whole game on his map, and said I was showing up in his squad, and had a green tag the whole time.

It's too freaking infrequent to know what to look for. It just happens.

It's only happened to me 3 times since June.

Frankly, I think guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill on this one. It's a sproadic glitch that, in all honesty, really doesn't effect much.

If it happened to your more frequently, like it does for some people, you'd find that it affects you a LOT.

I've learned to deal with it.

I've learned to recognize team uniforms. That doesn't stop teammates from TKing ME when I'M red-tag bugged though

I'm gonna need to be compensated for my time while I finish YOUR game. What a ridiculous statement. It's like them saying-"WE at EA have dirty floors, WE can't figure out why they are so dirty. While WE ponder why it's so dirty, can YOU sweep and vacuum it up for us?"
