Headphones into Microphones

I know theres a way to do it and yes it is possible, it will not be very good ones but it will work. How can I make a pair of headsets into microphones?

er...just plug them into the mic in port, reverses the signal. volume, tonal control etc will be rather rubbish. better go out and just buy a 10 quid mic

ok..

1. get your headphones.
2. find the plug on the end. it's usually green.
3. plug it into the mic-in on the back of your computer - if coloured usually pink

it's really quite simple

Um....Thinking buying a cheap mic will prolly save you headaches and other people from having to try and understand what the hell you are saying over the headphones...
