Major Problems / Slow loading ..Then slide show

    Hello All,

    I'm very frustrated,

I bought BF 2 upon its release and played it on my system without any issues. High resoulution, good voice comms no problems.

I bought SF when it was relseased and have never really been able to play it properly...Extremely long loading times and slide show on game entry even at low resolution settings. I dont get it....:hmm: I Believe...all my drivers are current. I uninstalled and reinstalled both BF2 and SF.

Can someone point me in the right direction here are my specs.

Please feel free to email me directly with suggestions.

Re: Major Problems / Slow loading ..Then slide show

Both BF2 and BF2:SF require 1.5GB or more of system RAM to run textures on high.

Also try updating to the Beta drivers from Creative if you haven't already. They support OpenAL which is used in BF2 and BF2:SF.

The latest ATI drivers are 5.13 but I would recommend sticking to 5.11, as they have no issues with BF2.
