    Re: Communications

You need a mic first of all. And then you press the talk button. That's all. I haven't played in a while so I forget exactly.

U can use VOIP it was installed and configured once you installed BF2 and you need a Mic .. I prefer headset then in the game when you're in a squaD you have to be in a squad to talk to your squadmembers press B to talk keep it pressed untill you quit talking then release. Some people (like me) prefer teamspeak over Voip because you don't need to push any buttons to talk.. but teamspeak is a different story get used to voip first.:)

        Re: Communications

You can only talk to squad members. If your a squad leader, you can speak to your lovely (or not) commander too.

Otherwise you gotta type to people outside your squad (if your in one), but dont count them reading it.

            Re: Communications

Not too many people use in-game VOIP because sooooo many people have trouble getting it to work properly.

Some servers don't even have it enabled at all.

But, yes, if you're in a squad and your squadmates and speaking, you SHOULD be able to hear them.

Maybe it's a VOIP Off server or maybe they to shy to talk

lol. so whats best, Xfire, teamspeak? need to get voip. two resones. im a good chopper pilot, i hate it when i see something and the gunner dont so i need to tell him. + i like being a sniper and i get to see alot more going on. So many times i watch people run to there deaths due to a tank or something. i could of told them to stop and go anouther way or wait for one or are tanks.

yea you could use voip but i would rather use xfire, with xfire you get other things with it aswell, like sever lists and more, check it out!
