Bug or what with the sound ???

Hi all.
When when i remove (in option) the music (the sound) there is no more music except when i first load a map (after opening bf2) there is music. How should i do to completely remove the music ?

I have noticed that BF2 does not "obey" the sound volume settings if you click on a server that requires a different mod to be loaded. When the mod is launched the volume is 100%. That is the only time I have seen this behaviour. Are you launching bf from ase or something similar?

If that is not what you are doing then.

Music volume set to '0' works for me.

No more music ever.

The ONLY music I hear is the victory or loss music at the end of a round.

yes but only when u are not connecting via a game browser like ASE or Xfire. Since i dont like the ingame browser i have to listen that "crap" music all time! Also i dont like the anthems either :/

what modification did u do since we all listen that music when we connect with ASE

and how about the anthemns? is it possible to turn that off?

Well, I use the BF2 Connector wrapper for ASE...but I really doubt that makes the difference...but you never know.
