Was on ghost town this evening. Our team was fairly good, having gone roughly 1:1 over the past few maps in the rotation. My experiences:
First, some jerkey off engineer was tossing grenades at the UAV trailer and fixing it--while an enemy spec ops dude was stalking him. I killed the spec ops, brought the engi back among the living, and started to head off to find some (spetz, I think?) through which to let the sun shine.
And then another paradrop on our base...and another...and another...and another...and another. Goal? Not to blow up assets. Take the chopper.
"Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!"
Not fun to me, and I'm IMMENSELY looking for the Grand Chopper Nerfing of Two-Double-Ought-Six. Maybe the two grenades I tossed in "their" cockpit would've brought it back to earth after the Great Nerfing? Maybe two or three UberNooberTuber rounds will take it down Post-Nerf?
I'm darn near giddy with anticipation! Who would've guessed EA could make an SF player so happy?
Oh, "if you wanted the chopper you should've been in the air", and "if you wanted your base, you should've been defending it", blah, blah, blah. Great points, and bully for you IF you choose not to repeat them for seven thousandth time. I never said don't do it, I simply said that the sooner I can drop those choppers with what I'm lugging on my back, the sooner the game will suck less. (In my most humble opinion.)
Anybody in the TBF2 world agree with that?
