Anyone league play ?

Its the only way to play BF2.

differance between league and public server is like between night
and day..

Ive never been tkd for my ride..
never been tkd for my jet or chopper..
never been jihad jeep'd.

rarely see chopper caps..

noob tubes exist but not as common, esp. in city maps.

admins actually on site to monitor game for trouble makers..

medics in every squad...

voice comm. is around 50%.. helps a lot..

99% of the players actually know what theyre doing..

public servers are a disgrace to online gaming in BF2...league play is
the only way to play this game...

Many competetive clans are hoping for the next patch, as their matches only evolve around the overpowered helo atm (exploiting the fact you can fire the TV missile at your enemy before he can even see you). And around bunny hopping C4 tossing stupidity.

I only play in some kind of fun league, so luckily most people there decided not to play the cheap way. Still, I anticipate the next patch...

Truth be told I hate public servers to the point I don't pub anymore. I can't stand the whiners and bitchers, and warnings about anything in reguards to bunnyhopping, noobtubing, c4'ing, and even the shotgun for f's sakes.

Competitive play is the only way to go even if its just ladders. I prefer leagues because i'm married with kids so my comp time is limited. But your right, and I can guarentee anyone who plays in a league or ladder and is successful isn't bitching on forums like this or EA's. I just come here to read the drama and the latest bitchings going on to laugh about.

If you think the patch is going to save this game you've already failed. if you can't shoot something moving, guarentee they can shoot you before you shoot them standing still. I'm very excited to see the next wave of bitching after the patch...I'm sure tanks are in the targets of the snipers laying in the streets next. maybe the knife is overpowered and should take 5-10 seconds while slowly cutting your victim.

I only started playing FPS games about 6 months ago. Thats when I learned of on-line gaming. Before that I spent most of my time outdoors. A place many here have never been. :) Or so it would seem.

Yes League play is fun and a friend of mine is starting a league that is sponsored by EA I will post url once his coding is done. I myself have owned a league in the past (neoleague), I have worked for many (IGS being one of them). They are an important part of gaming and when prizes are involved and a point based system they can be alot of fun for a clan and for the gamers.

hahahahaha, man... I wish there was an option to enable that. I could just imagine that. All the other person could watch for 10 seconds would be you cutting them in first person.
