Using an ftp

Hey, me and a friend have a website and were using an ftp server. I was wondering that if you got the ip adress and port of the server, that you could use it to play games on?

Huh, you want to play games via FTP? Is that what your saying?

Or are you saying you want to upload and install the server files via FTP, then run a server? In that case no, unless the system admin on the server is a total dumbass.

The answer is 'no'.

You'd have to have full access (or virtual VNC or similar access) to the machine or have the owner/admin of the machine install and run the server software.
