does FS allow promotion of BF2 medals

Does anyone know if you are playing a SF map and lets say you meet your knife badge requirments, will you get the badge and have it update to your BF2 stats?

I can't tell if my weapons and promotions are getting added to when I play SF.

I am getting frustrated because I am not getting my SF ribbons, got me to thinking that maybe it wasn't promoting to my overall BF scores.

If you are referring to the service ribbons. The times for those are around 50 hrs of play in that army.
