Wow...the board glitched on me...dunno why it doesnt have what I wrote.

Anyway...just asking because I have never seen it in all the times Ive played that map.

We almost won last game, 3-0 at the end...it was disappointing.

Iron gator is so bloody easy on a 32 player server. I had my RPK, ripped a whole clan apart, took 3 flags, un-noticed and easily grabbed gold First time I played it too and I was MEC. It was too easy to sneak up on people.

Maybe its because I have only played it with 64 people.

If someone on the MEC team has a fast computer and an IQ over average they will always win.

I've played this map maybe 15 times as MEC, and every single time I've managed to cap the Engine Room flag without encountering resistance. I'm normally in the rear bay of the ship with my jetski when no more than 1-2 in the enemy team have spawned - and they are always up on deck, messing about.

I noticed that most people wait for the Jetski fella's and boat people to arrive. I just grab the MEC transporter Chopper, Fly it up heaps high, then parachute down. Much Easier.

yeah they have. I have a screeny somewhere were the MEC team wins with around 100-0 200-0 in Iron Gator o_O

I guess i never lost on MEC on this map. Just take the Transport chopper, let the Hind make the target for the turrets, and get into the rear bay with the chopper, land it among the barrel and boxes, and you will have a whole squad getting directly on ground, no **** ladder or swimming with the dolphins. You will be protected by the chopper until you land, and your gunner can shoot down the guys on the side.

You should see enemies faces seeing the chopper arriving down there !! "Hey, wtf he's doing!!"

It is very easy to win as MEC, when you have a good team/good squad, I played last night and we won MEC-124 to USA-0.

Same here, it's my new favourite :)
Only annoying thing on Iron Gate are all the name/rank-tags displayed on-screen on a 64-slot server, gets a bit messy.

Agreed. I think it's a great map, but we do need to lose the nametags on it.

My C4 would LOVE to see a full transport chopper come into the bay. I've seen rounds where we dominated the US and where the MEC couldn't even get to the ship, just depends on the teams I guess.
