so, this is about a few screenies i found. If you go to nzone.com and go to download and find battlefield 2 and click it, on the right hand side of the page you see screenshots of the game. But these screen shots dont look like any bf2 i have played. The graphics are wayy better and the models are different. Can someone look at these because Im just wondering. I remember bf2 had some reallly nice graphics up until the new patch, were the gfx sorta degraded, sucks too cause I just got a good enough computer to paly at high settings, and they have to go and destroy the graphics like that!
anyway, can someone look at those, im thinking they just wanted to make the game look better so people would buy it.

those are ss from e3, back when we had laser designators and arabs that looked like terrorist, and blackhawks with rockets. All the stuff that they promised was left out. They were originaly gonna have destructable enviroments and civilian vehicles, too.

I think some of those features are STILL listed on official EA websites...false advertising I say...

....the hovercraft IS currently in military and civilian operation around the world.

The marines use it to transport vehicles from the main ships onto the beaches during an attack. These hovercraft are extremely useful, as they can get vehicles such as tanks, and trucks onto hostile territory from a ship thats anchored miles out of sight.

Hovercraft, future warfare? Get your facts right son.

Blah. Everyone knows that every one of those features are gonna come in the form of seperate $39 expansion packs, courtesy of EA Games.

hehe..yea, I doubt they would release a FREE patch that actually ADDED a completely new feature or vehicle such as the hovercraft. All the patches have been and probably will continue to fix minor bugs here and there, with adjustments to the gameplay.
