:::
When I got Battlefield 2, I played it on my Radeon X300. (Yeah it was a crappy card). When I got Special forces and patched it, my framerate was horrible. I tested out all kinds of servers, and nothing changed. My framerate was bad in normal BF2 as well. I decided to get a new video card, and i got the GeForce 6600 256MB, which didnt help at all. I uninstalled SF, and my battlefield was great. after some good playing time with BF2 I re-installed SF, hoping it would be better, but it wasnt. I uninstall SF again, but this time BF2 was crappy, just like SF. I have tried uninstalling BF2, defrag,re-install, and BF2 was great, and playable. The next day I found out that BF2 had gone back to having a crappy framerate.
I have tried different combinations of install un-install and defrag but nothing has worked. Drivers updated, no viruses, no spyware.
My Specs:
10 open gigs on HD
1 gig RAM
nvidea geforce 6600 256 MB
pentium 4 (3.00Ghz) processor
Cable connection - had tests ran, ended up fine.
Please help.
