    3 kits showing same primary weapon?

    Special Forces,Assault,and Medic all show the same primary weapon
    for SAS kits. Is this normal?

        the "visual" difference is:

        spec ops: standard weapon
        SUPPORT, not assault: has a 100 rounds drum ammo clip
        medic: has the extra handle on the front but basic ammo clip

          SpecOps = G36C
          Medic = G36E
          Support = MG36

            Ahh, I didn't see that at first. Thanks guys. Just wanted to make
            sure it wasn't a glitch. I just got the Expansion a couple days
            ago so haven't had much time with it yet.

              FOr SAS, spec ops gets the G36K. ANyways, on to descriptions for the weapons. The G36K is a G36C with a bit more power (28 vs. 25 damage), but a a larger when prone mod (1.1 vs. 1.0). The G36E is basicaly a M16 on steroids, it has higher power (32 vs. 30 of the M16), better min deviation (2.5 vs. 3.0), and lower deviation per shot (1.7 vs. 2.0), but like the G36K, has a smaller prone benefit. The MG36, does 30 damage, which is more than teh SAW, but less than the RPK and PKM. It has a lower min deviation and is the most accurate LMG.

                    SL9 Above, SL8 below.

                    Basically semi auto G36s. I plan on buying an SL8 someday.

                    This thread reminds me: I'm sad that EA didn't model any G36s with the standard optical sights. I guess they're too lazy. They already had the G36c sight rail from BF2 (vanilla).

                      Where did you get all of those images of those guns? Those are pretty neat.

                        Ya, teh G36E should have a 3x scope, it's the export version of the G36. THe G36K is the carbine version (the G36C is the commando version if u were wondering) and it has a red dot aimpoint AND a 3.5x scope. The G36 series have lots of scopes/sights, seriously, even some MG36s have aimpoints (red dot).
