Battlerecorder!!!!!??????

i was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to disable the battlerecorder??? i never use it and i would guess that it takes up valuble system resourcese! any ideas guys?

Are you running a server?

If not, then Battlerecorder isn't affecting you at all.

If ONLY runs server-side on a server that has it enabled. Nothing extra is running on a client machine.

No im not talus, so it wont affect me then, ideal, thought it may of taken up memory or something??tnx again bud

No problem.

The problem is that they included virtually NO documentation on the Battlerecorder feature so that people have to figure out what it is and how it works all on their own

yea i know, dont know anything about it, all i know is that it replays certain battles that have been recorded, to be honest i just delete them every now and then, do you use it much???is it useful????

Unless you are actively downloading them from your bookmarks screen there is no need to delete anything.

No files are kept on your HDD as a client. All the replay files sit on the server until you actively download them.

The ONLY time I've ever found replays to be useful is when:

-I want to take some good screenshots for sigs, desktops, etc
-when I watch to catch stat padders

Mmmmmm, ideal mate tnx, will remember that, wont bother to delete anymore then nice 1, yea good for catching cheaters out eh? and theres plenty of them, have a good xmas.
