for all you un-appereciative BF fans.

    Hello everyone
    I am a BF2 fanatic.
    I bought a 2000$ computer so that I may play BF2.

BF2 has brought me joy and heartache.
but I love this game..nothing tops it at the moment.

    Sure we hate smacktards.
    as well as noob-tubers,
not to mention people who punish instantaneously for a TK,
who can for get teammates who kill you cause you got in their tank or helo,
    EA's release of Patch X.XX....

At least EA listens to the community. and is working to improving the game that we love.

    unlike CoD..

Im debating if i should go up an extra 1GB OCZ platinum to get up to 3GB..

only thing stopping me is that I really need a notebook computer for work..(500$ hole)

I don't think you're going to find too many people willing to do the field work for you on this one

Looks like you're just going to have to go out and buy it and try it and report your findings back to the rest of us

The scientific and gaming community thanks you in advance.

ok I have sort of the same story. And ill make it long. Me and my friends always played games together like MMORPG's and counter strike 1.6 all the time. Well most of my friends' computers arent that great so they can only play games like CS. Well one of my friends upgraded and found out about the bf2 demo. I went to his house with my crappy computer and loved the game so much I upgraded from a nvidia mx420 to a nvidia 5700 JUST TO PLAY THE DEMO. After obsessing with the demo, I bought the game and was able to play it on low settings. But it still wasnt enough, because my friend had a nvidia 6600gt and wasplaying it at max, and the gfx in bf2 are AWESOME at max. So, i decided to save all the money i was getting and put it towards building a computer. After about a half a year, I finished building my 1300$ and counting$ computer. And now I can play other games too like FEAR and half life 2.

Yea my friend told me about bf2 and so I googled it and was absolutely amazed. I never played a game with vehicles like the oens in bf2 all I remember playing was cs 1.6 and day of defeat so than I purchased a pure gaming pc just so I could play it. It cost me like $2800.

same here i spent way to much but it was worth it, i mean i needed new hardware, but what cost me the most was the 7800, and the 5500 was just crap that i had before

I agree with everything you say except the last part. As far as that goes you couldn't be more wrong. What have they improved? Frankly, give me BF2 without any patches, and I think its better.

The fact that bf2 updates at all means its better. Would you like to still be driving a Model T Ford?
