veteran repair

how do you get this? ive been trying to get it for the past 3 days... and every game... no one blew up any assets, and no vehicles need repairs/already died.

HOW do i get this.. its ****ing me off. ive tried karkand, wake and mashtuur. ive played big games and small games. still cant get it.

stick with ur friend in armors on karkand, both of u be engineers. attack and defend together, do everything together. that's how i got my vet engi badge.

eh just a matter of joining the right game. I seem to get all my bages when i'm not trying to force the issue....just go with the flow and they'll come.

i suggest u go on a map like errrr kubra dam maybe and stay inside a jeep and go all over the map standing next to damaged friendly units and repairing them, if the round doesnt end to fast u might get it.

with mine i was lucky, 2 special ops guys kept blowing up assets, and i kept going there killing them and repairing the assets, good thing they were persistent heheeh

Hang around the arty/radar etc on a 64 player map with about 15-20ish players.

Jump into jeep and keep following friendly tanks/apcs. You can also use a buggy instead because it is faster and more maneuvreable than jeeps.
High awareness of your environment, and enemy positions is very important for this.
Go onto a half-full 64 player server so you have enough time.

sit in the back of a blackhawk on somewhere like wake or songhua...you're k/d will be crap..but you might get it

Yip, in a jeep or buggy, cruising around the map fixing everything, good thing is, you don't even have to get out. I almost got the repairs points one time, but don't have nearly the time as engineer

Hey Metal...whatever,

For mine, I was on Ghost Town (if you have SF) It was just luck really. I was the SAS and some Spec ops guy was constantly blowing up our assets. He would blast it, then run and hide and wait for it to be reapaired, and come right back and do it again. He seemed to clue in that I wasn't looking for him, and he stopped coming after me. It's all about the "mutually beneficial relationship" that Engineers and Spec ops can have. So find a map where people just can't stop blowing up your stuff and you'll get it. Also, make sure you do it on a map that has a max of 32 players, but uses a 64 player version of the map. Twice the tickets makes for a longer round, you dig?

If you are truely desperate for the repair badge you can do this... Blow up your own artillery with C4 die, then spawn as an engineer repair your own artillery die then spawn again as SF and keep doing it until you get enough repair points and you can throw some ammo around when you run out of C4. Yes you will have a preety bad score but you will get the badge.

i saw this on the tips and tricks section.
spawn at the suburb on karkland and jump in the vodnik. drive it down the hill with the intention of rolling it over. then jump out and begin repairing 3-4 repair points everytime you do it. viola.

Load up a server with a carrier. Get in a boat, hit the side of the carrier and flip the boat over. switch to a seat, pull out your wrench, and repair for the whole round...

That boat trick is pretty good Nickademus.

It takes like 1 minute of repairing to get one point, it's insane. I don't see how you'd find that much to repair in a normal round.

jeeps repair faster and will give points faster, when you see a humvee or vodnik with some teammates in it, jump in it and start repairing in the back , stand next to one with a gunner in it, repair commander assets, also look for AA sites or TOW ites with teammates in it, if they are damaged you can repair them.

But , however you look at it, those repair points suck to get, it goes slow and it is boring
