Xbox 360 - live - BF - thread

Hi guys, i am considering to switch to Xbox 360 , because the graphics are nice , ( xbox has 24 pipelines and 3 processors of 3,2 ghz ! ( no p4 ) )

Also , dice claimd to make games on consols not on pc's

did ya seen the screenshots of BF2 mc xbox 360 version ?

it looks better then BF2 ( look at the grass, soldiers and trees )

But to play on line with Xbox it cost 60 Euro a year, but its cheaper then PC , why ? because you dont have to buy a new each 2 years videocard like the 7800 series ( above 300 Euro !! )

And my question to you is,

Is the Xbox 360 Live community big ? alot of players ? i mean alot of people cant afford a high end pc to play BF2 good

Also you can download movies, music and demo's ( and patches ) from Xbox live, wich is nice ! ( and clan creation and EA keeps the clan scores and matches in the server ! )

Playstation 3 is also a option, but i think that online sucks with playsation ( like with PS2 )

whats your opinion guys, plz lets discuss this good like gamers ! :)

There are other threads like this one where this has already been discussed. Use the Search feature on these Forums, you may find the answers you seek. My opinion, don't waste your money on Console, games are over priced and any game with Multiplayer usually suxs.

Halo 2 alone still has over 50,000 people at any time on xbox after 360 came out and on launch there was close to a million on at any given time if i remember correctly. XBL is great but they limet ur friends list to 100 which fills fast.

You're acting like you can't download movie, music, and demos, and patches on the PC, wtf? lol.


The nvidia 7800 is going to last people more than 2 years, try 3 or 4. Since it's as powerfull or more powerfull than the xbox360 card.

And the 360 bf2: modern combat doesn't look much better at all.

don't listen to these guys, they are just haters. I am considering too and i have played games on the 360 and they are amazing I say go to consoles because they are cheaper, socially better because u could have frineds over and play with them not really an option with pc, and they have better graphics and preformance than any pc out right now.

so stop listening to these jealous clowns and go with what feels right as for me I'm going to buy a good pc with a dual core cpu and a 7800GTX vid card and wait for the prices to down and eithier buy the ps3 most likley or the 360 next year

Look at this one. Ha, have no social life? Who are you to say that '' ice man '' ? Ahaha. I guess you have no friends with good PC's, i have 5 that play Callofduty2 and 1 that plays Battlefield2. Trust me, i've been playing xboxlive for about 2 years now, and online pc gaming with buds has been funner than it all put togethor. The only games that look better than anything on the pc (and not by much ) is PGR3 and Perfect Dark zero.

So yea, the only thing you proved was '' they are cheaper ''

And in that case, if you have a good enough PC right now, upgrading is actually cheaper than buying a whole new system.

Also, never call me a '' hater '' again, not only does that sound gay, but i have an xbox, gamecube, snes, n64 and a dream cast. I am a console / PC gamer, just stating facts. (ok maybe some are opinions )

Dont forget Ghost Recon 3 Advanced WarFighter even though its coming out for the PC to the xbox 360 I think looks better.

The graphics for Xbox360 BF2:MC looks good, but have you heard the amount of things that are going wrong with Xbox360 :laugh: its hilarouis with the amount of stuff that Xbox 360's are havening, mainly overheating graphics ares screwing up big time :laugh: :laugh:

u guys are dumb I do have a kick ass system with my 7800GTX and a dual core 3800+ oc'ed and it plays bf2 seamless. and planning on getting a 360 because it's better than anything out there for a while so might as well get it and it's has crazy graphics and is fun as hell just like a pc
