I had that problem myself since I downloaded Special forces. Once I manually updated the punk buster files the problem seemed to be fixed.

Try downloading "PBsetup" from

http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.php

Use it to manually update the files. Hope it works.

Need Help.

Every time i try to get on a server, as soon as it lets u click join it boots me out saying that the server only allows unmodified something...not sure exactly. It says please revert back to the orginal battlefield 2. Not sure what all that means, can anyone help me out?

BTW sometimes it just crashes once its done loading, and sometimes it disconnects from the server saying "no server selected". Is there some sort of fix?

Sling, did you do the pb_sleep 500 thing that reduces lag or change the exe name ? If so, you'll get that "please revert back to the orginal battlefield 2, unmodified content blah blah". Only on some servers though.
