Strewth, I used to have a ball playing on the aussie, and even kiwi servers! not anymore though. One pure and simple reason. NO TEAMWORK!
Now look, i know i used to b!tch about this back when the game first began, but lately it seems as though all players have gone back into their bad old habits.
I'll lead you through a typical game for me.
1: check all squads, if there is one that seems to have players sticking together, then i'll look at their kits. I'll choose one that seems to have a competent leader, spawn on him, and try have a chat to em. I see that the SL has his knife out and is dolphin diving the ENTIRE way along the road, the medic and support man are having fun with each other, medic shoots support once, reloads, heals the support guy who proceeds to give him ammo for the 'clip' he just used up. Spec Ops is putting his c4 on any of 'his' vehicles and blowing them to smithereens, occupants and all.
2: leave squad, try the others. All similar stories, except for the squads that just dont stick together, and the ones with the SL standing around staring at the sky waiting for a jet to appear so he can crash it into a mountainside whilst attempting to blast a hole into the earth to commence tunnelling operations under the enemy flags, and give the enemy a 1-more-ticket advantage.
3: create my own, name it teamwork, VOIP, or if i have a specific objective in mind, ANTI UAV or DEFENCE or something like that. Invite several people, some join, then run along and do their own thing!!!! i try reason with them, it doesnt work, i try kicking them from the squad, they come back, taking up a slot that could be much better used.
But i say COULD, because noone else in the server seems to have a stone motherless clue of what teamwork means!
