i got 9600 XT with 500 Mhz core, works bf2 on medium well...ram will let u play with a lot more people but not really improve performance. Unless u getting like new ram then things will change.

I have a little bit older machine as my gaming rig, the specs are these:

AMD Barton 2600+ @ 3200+
Radeon 9800 Pro 128 Mb AGP
1 Gb DDR 400 MHz CL3

Would it make a big difference to upgrade my Radeon to GeForce 6800 GT 256 Mb?

I'm using the lowest graphic settings to get as high FPS as possible, and it still some times drops under 30. Usually the FPS count is something like 40.

iv got a 7800GT with 2 gigs of ram and struggle with low

Omggg... I have 9800 pro 256mb and have problems trying to run on medium. Btw I have 768 RAM.

me and a friend have the same card 9800 pro 128mb, but we voth have 2gb ram, one of our other friends has a 9600 128mb 1.5gb ram and he can run on medium also....
