Need Info on Support, Engy, and Sniper

Hey guys, Its pretty obviously the best ways to play classes like medic ... duh heal and revive ppl ... but I need little tips or tricks to use for those 3 classes, engy, support, and sniper. Not so much sniper but it would help to know ... if you are in a squad, whats best to do? (ex. chill on rooftops and cover your squad or run with em?) or if you are a squad leader ... where should a sniper be (ex. near enemey flag or defending friendly flag?)
And for support and engineer ... I have no idea how to play ... like should and engy run to enemy lines, drop mines and hope they dont kill friendly or somethin sneaky like get ontop buildings and wait for the tanks/ jeeps. Support too, better to defend flags? follow a squad and reload em? hide in dark alleyways and mow ppl down?

Any replies of little tricks or tactics you use on any of these 3 classes would really help ty

i think the name support is confusing. they can fight. go in close quarters. dont bother too much about resupplying. if you're with a squad and they want ammo u hand out some of course. lying in allyways or suddenly appearing at very close ranges just rocks with the supports (at longer ranges use short bursts).
in vanilla bf2 hiding out on rooftops generally leaves you with few points, few kills and few deaths. u gotta go where the action is. snipers i think are not good squad leaders. with them u also need to be relativley close to the action. squad members popping up next to u and drawing fire on your position is just want u dont want. when someone discovers you being sniper you gotta estimate if it is best to try to shoot him, retreat and drop a claymore (they'll try to hunt you down and run over it) or drop a grenade and run. Hit'em with the sniper, then pistol'em down. Engy I don't play much, mostly vehicle whores

yea good point about the rooftops ... i want the highest kill:death ratio possible and im not sure which class to do it with and what tactics i should but i really think that the fact the support class has grenades ( couple kills per grenade) and can resupply ... gives it a high possibility of killing a lot of dudes

snipers not so much unless i can perfect the shots ... then i could get many kills with like a couple deaths ... i think support would be better

engy may end up being more of a "fun" class to play and **** off enemy vehc's BUT these are the 3 main classes ive been lookin at ... i need tactics to go along with them hehe ... i mainly play karkand and uh ... the map with the U.S. carrier ... aso, if u think another class has very high kills ... w/o vehicles ... then do tell :P
