Join Your Own Server?

A friend of mine set up a dedicated server, me and another freind joined but when the person who set it up joined it crashed the whole server, How can you get round this?

He was running the Dedidated Server and Client on the same machine?

He'd have to have to great specs for that.

If he could host the game on one machine, and join with another, I bet it'd work just fine.

Minus the fact you need 2 CD-Keys if I'm not mistaken.

Naw, anybody can download and run a dedicated server whether they actually own the game or not. You don't have to have anything else installed.
